World’s Best Grandma
Apparently I am the World’s Best Grandma and I have the paper to prove it.
Who knew? The reasons why are interesting and unique. As only the Youngest Grand can figure. It’s a little hard to see but here are the highlights:
- My best dinner is Lazanna (Lasagna). We have no clue how he knows mine is good. Youngest Grand doesn’t eat it. It’s red.
- Best Dessert: Banana Pudding ( no explanation needed there)
- I am Prffict (perfect)
- I am a good pirson
- My favorite saying is “Good Work”
- I’m loved by my family because I am nice and playful.
- My favorite grandchild is the youngest Grand
- He’s not surprised I won because I play with him and
- I NEVER EVER use bad words ( All I can say to that one is bahahahaha)
So now you know why I am the World’s Best Grandma. I guess I better go make some Lazanna and Banana Pudding.
Headed out to a Durham Bulls ballgame last night. We went with Shan, Eldest Grand and two of his friends from school. As we’re standing there getting something to eat, the kids are talking about seeing the movie “Romeo and Juliet” in class. I asked what version they saw. I was really hoping it was the 1968 version. It wasn’t, it was a 1996 version. Really? That’s old? NO it isn’t.
Eldest Grand’s friend answered “It was an old one and it was hard to understand what they were saying. They talked funny and used weird words”
Of course, Grams HAD to say “Romeo, Romeo, where for art thou Romeo? Why couldn’t they just say , Hey Dude, where the heck are you?” The giggles made my day.
On the way home from the ballgame, I am sitting in the back with Grand and friends. For some reason, the conversation turned to plants, kudzu in particular. I made the comment that zudzu grows one foot every 24 hours. For some reason, that blew Grand’s mind. He had to google it. Grams was right. Mind REALLY BLOWN. Loved it.
And y’all do me a favor? Let’s not tell our Fearless Leader that I finished writing this challenge with only 12 minutes to spare before post time. Please and Thank you!
