Many people claim that online friends are not “real” friends. Here at The Southern Belle Charm we beg to differ!
We have never met most of you and probably never will, but we feel we know you just the same. We care about the things that you care about, feel the same hurts and pains, enjoy the simple pleasures of life and good company.
We take great pleasure in getting to know you. One of greatest mentors we have, we met online- Liz Djuka from Junktion Alley. We cared when Maureen’s granddaughter was born premature, when Marla has a day when she’s feeling poorly. We thrilled when Kim had a new granddaughter and shared her joy of decorating her beach house. We look forward to good morning coffee with Cheryl, Glenda, Gloria and Joyce- spread from Pa, NC, IA and CA. Goodnight and Sweet dreams with Nancy, Dorothy and all the gang.
You’ve shared our ups and downs, my granddaughters birth, my mothers passing, mary( Minette’s neighbor’s illness and passing, Shanda’s Craftman’s renovation, Dana’s daughter’s recent hospitalization… The things FRIENDS do. We’ve laughed, cried, teased, prayed our way through the seasons of life with one another.
We never know from one minute to the next what life may bring, but we are SO thankful that almost 40,000 of you have decided to be our friend. We know no matter what happens our Belles and Beaus will be there through thick and thin, because they are our “real” friends!
Like my grandmothers quilt pictured above each and every one of you is a piece of our life and brings your own color and vibrancy to the pattern. We are blessed you have chosen to be a part of our quilt and look forward to getting to know more of you.
